Congratulations to Dr. Heather Povinelli - Monrovia Unified School District and LA County Teacher of the Year!
Dr. Povinelli teaches second grade at Bradoaks Elementary Science Academy. Principal Calvin McKendrick, shared, “What sets Dr. Povinelli apart is not just her expertise, but her heart. She doesn’t just teach content, she builds character. She doesn’t just work in education, she elevates it." She was one of 16 teachers selected by the County, congratulations to all of these outstanding educators.
