Standards Based Learning
Bradoaks Science Academy is a diverse TK-6th grade school located in the eastern section of Monrovia. Our curriculum is delivered in heterogeneously grouped, self-contained, single-grade classrooms that foster inclusive and standards-based learning environments.
As a science-focused academy, Bradoaks places a strong emphasis on inquiry-based learning and hands-on scientific exploration, integrating STEM principles across subject areas to spark curiosity and develop critical thinking skills. This scientific lens enhances our commitment to the acquisition of the Common Core State Standards and the development of essential Life Skills.
While maintaining a rigorous focus on Language Arts and Mathematics to support continuous improvement on SBAC assessments.
